Dan Decarlo wasn't quite polished yet with this 1940s Millie story, but I amuse myself with this comment:

I like it, but is Dan DeCarlo physically incapable of drawing a balanced humna being or what. [SIC}

The answer that pains me somewhat, as it's a joke that seems to going around:

Being dead, he's physically incapable of drawing ANYthing.

Jack Kirby draws eyes. Well, I assume you can do a collage like that with many cartoonists who have the habit of... doing close-ups of eyes.
