I. There is a Basil Wolverton exhibit this month at the Portland Art Center. I was always bemused by biographical sketches of the career of Wolverton that describe "Wolverton's Biblical illustrations" as his personal favorites. The exhibit includes some of Wolverton's Biblical illustrations. That would be, um, The Book of Revelations.

II. I see that George Glaidir won the Bill Finger Award for excellence in comic book writing. For the record, George Glaidir was, for the most part, a tedious writer. I could dissect his formula, but to do so would be fill me with angst.

I think this reader missed the point of Lizard Music. "drug-induced" adventure? Feh!
